Gaptooth: the comeback tour

Ladyfest Bristol 2007

Last gig: Ladyfest Bristol 2007. I was significantly thinner then.

Roll up, roll up!

After three years of no live gigs (read: working too hard at my day job and being too tired to do much else), I will be playing a live set this Thursday (28th April) at Village Green Preservation Society‘s monthly scratch night, upstairs at the Betsey Trotwood in Farringdon.

Okay then, it’s not really a tour. It’s one gig. But hopefully it will lead to more, and I’ll also be back at Dreamtrak to record some more new tracks in the near future.

On Thursday I’ll be playing some old tracks as well as a couple of newer ones which I haven’t played live before.

Annoyingly, my plans to spend the Easter weekend rehearsing have been scuppered by a nasty cold, but (fingers crossed) I will be back on form by Thursday and read to kick your ass with some synth tunes like some kind of electropop ninja.

The night starts at 8:30pm, and it’s £3 on the door. The next day is a Bank Holiday, so no excuses! See the Facebook event here. If it’s anything like last month’s Village Green Preservation Society, expect it to be chaotic, entertaining and bizarre…
